Traverse City Alliance Rugby Football Club , Est. 2000, is the high school boys combine rugby team in the Greater Traverse City area. Since then, we have boys that have played at the College level, winning Division One National Championships (back-to-back), played for clubs around the world, coached National Champion Division One teams, were the Captain of Notre Dame's rugby club, Head Coach of the U of M rugby club, played on professional Premiership League European Rugby Teams, have played for our USA Eagles all around the world, (including competing against the number one, world ranked, New Zealand All Blacks in Chicago) and started on the 2011 & 2015 USA World Cup Teams.

TC Alliance plays in Division I of the Michigan Youth Rugby Association (MYRA) against Grandville, Rockford, West Ottawa, etc. MYRA is the state youth organizing body in Michigan under USA Rugby umbrella, the governing body of all rugby in the United States. USA Rugby is an official member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the International Rugby Board (IRB). The organization has approximately 90,000 members and is responsible for the development of the boys, girls, high school, collegiate and club rugby programs, and ultimately all of the national teams representing the U.S. in international competitions.

The TC Alliance coaching staff has over 100 years combined rugby playing history from major rugby programs, such as South Africa, England, and collegiate level experience in the U.S. Coaches are happy to answer any questions during or outside of practice.

The cost is $150 for referees and travel fees, plus $65 for state and national rugby registration fees, which includes accidental insurance through US Rugby (details of coverage). Scholarships may be available.
